Success Story : Leanna

In April 2007, I was diagnosed with osteopenia in my left hip and osteoporosis in my lumbar spine. After experiencing debilitating side effects from two of the most commonly prescribed medications to improve bone density, I sought a second opinion from a holistic doctor. She said that I could absolutely reverse the bone thinning without medication. She told me to take calcium supplements daily and to do strength training at least 3 times a week. I started training with Mary at K-Star Fitness on October 2, 2007, and my follow-up bone density test on June 15, 2008, revealed amazing results. The osetopenia was gone and the osteoporosis was in the osteopenic range! Oh, I should mention that I will be 62 on November 2, 2008, and as Bette Midler says, "I'm better than ever!"

I hope my testimony will inspire others to do take a natural approach to fitness.
